Dublin was my first trip of the year. I stayed in the city only for a weekend, a little taste of it but I promised myself to come back soon to visit the city and all Ireland well...too much to see!!
I only visited Trinity College and Kilmainham Gaol but there are a lot of places of interest:
-The Central area with the House of Lords, the Cathedral, the Book of Kells
-Docklands
-Historic Area with the National Museum, St Patrick's Cathedral, Guinnes Storehouse
-The Site of Medieval Walled City with the castle and the old city walls
-Temple Bar
etc etc
Important Dubliners are well represented in the city. In Dublin you will find statues of James Joyce, Molly Malone, Oscar Wilde...they form part of the city
- Pros:Open and cosmopolitan city; Guinness
- Cons:Too much rainy and windy
