"Bali Hai Beach Resort" Bauang by Monster78

Bali Hai Beach Resort sits along the South China Sea and the restaurant faces the dark moody waters.

We stayed here for four nights since it was centrally located for our daily medical missions, but in my observations, most caucasian men visiting this area arrive with local women of various ages. I recently read that Bauang, Nothern Luzon is quite notorious for prostitution, but overly blatant it was not.

One can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, view fisherman boats lined along the shore, and if adventurous, taste the fresh bangus fish for breakfast.

• Pros:Dark moody water, delicious local cuisine, fantastic rural scenery
• Cons:Dirty old men with pretty young women
• In a nutshell:I like the feel of the South China Sea...........
