  Thanx for the history lesson. I loved Riga and thought that the museum (from which I normally tire easily) was one of the best presented and very interesting.

  Re your comment on my Riga page, I've been to Riga many times but usually just stopping for a short time en route from Poland to Estonia -- I didn't call it a 'good page', I just put a couple of photos out of interest -- I've enjoyed Latvia in the past.
