Erfurt contains many historical locations. The Dom platz, Klein Venedig, Zitadelle Petersburg, museums. Erfurt is an easy city to walk in.

Renovation still ongoing

Ever since the wall fell and Germany became one, the former "East" German cities have been renovating their towns from years of neglect by the communist system and raping of the natural resources by the USSR.Now a days the country is going through a rebirth of pride and it clearly shows in the cities. Sure they still have their problems, but these are also disappearing.

The fight continues

Why do people still follow such abhorrent beliefs? Why can't the human race all live in harmony?

Glad you had such a great visit to Erfurt with your cousins. Fine photos on your tips and travelogues! I've been to Erfurt several times on business and to go to the opera -- but at the new opera house, not the old one. (Thanks for your nice e-mail.)
