| | Vacation Region Ochsenfurt is located at the southern most point of the Frankische dreieck in a bend in the Main as seen in this map.
To reach Ochsenfurt ...
From the A3 driving from Frankfurt (West) going towards Würzburg (East) Take the "Randersacker" exit.
From the A7 driving from Rothenburg (South) towards Kassel (North) Take the "Marktbreit" exit.
Once off the highway, look for the signs for Ochsenfurt. |
Entrance into the city A wall used to surround the old Ochsenfurt. This tower was one of the entries into the city and still used by automobiles entering and leaving the city. | | |
| | Man Hole Covers Rudy and I were suprised and pleased to see still so many "Stadt Ochsenfurt" man hole covers!
Rudy informed me in most towns these man hole covers are coveted as souvenirs and replaced by less fancier covers. |
