There is a road over the top of the mountain however many groups and individuals come here to hike through the forests... more travel advice

    Looks like you had a wet vacation there! I think you meant "Schwarzes Moor" (schwarz=black), that's a nature reserve in the Rhön mountains. Long ago that I've been in Rhön...
