Quebec is alot of fun in the winter, especially during Carnaval (http://www.carnaval.qc.ca/menueng.htm) in February. Everyone is celebrating and there are lots of things to do for winter sports enthusiasts; skiing, dog sledding, and snowshoeing. They also have horse drawn carriages, snow and ice sculptures, maple sugar taffy and a parade on the final night. But really Quebec City is a good place to get the feel of Europe here in North America anytime of year.
