Worth a look

If you happen to be on a trip that takes you near Conneticut, it is worth taking a second look at this much overlooked state. Or if you are there on business, get out of your hotel room and check it out, you'll be glad you did!
Connecticut is called the Constitution State because during the Revolutionary War the American Constitution was hidden from the British in an oak tree somewhere in Connecticut. I think that I use to know where, but I have forgotten.
The state has some of the oldest settlements in the U.S. There are many interesting and beautiful homes, churches and public buildings in towns around the state. The photo shows the town of Old Stonington, from the top of the lighthouse.
