Helsinki

Esplanad park in Helsinki
Helsinki is the capital city of Finland. It´s located in the southern part of Finland by the baltic sea.
We have two official languages, Finnish and Swedish. Swedish, because Finland was for a long time ruled by Sweden.
Helsinki was founded in 1550 by king Gustav I of Sweden. In the year of 1809, the Russians took over the ruling. Helsinki has been the capital city of Finland from year 1812.
Finland declared its independence on the sixth of december in 1917.
I like living in Helsinki. Here is still nature near you and of course the sea. The air is fresh to breath.
The summers are warm enough and it´s not too cold at winter time.
