I´ve visit Edfu twice. In 2005 and 2006. Both times I have been on a Nile cruise and the ship has stayed just for a while or over the night in Edfu.
So I can´t say that I know the city of Edfu, other than sitting in a horse cab and the second time from a mini-bus going to the temple of Edfu.
Hopefully, someday I will have a chance to visit Edfu with time.
