I have enjoyed my visits in Luxor. There is so much to see, Luxor museum, Karnak, Luxor temple, West bank with the Valley of the King, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon and much more.
I also find Luxor, as one of my favorite places in Egypt. Even itīs nearly impossible to walk, without getting an offer to take a kalesh or a taxi or ... but you get use to it.
Luxor is a place where you can feel the history, you have a feeling that the ancient ones are telling you their stories. On the west-bank, there is a singn saying: Look at the glory of the ancient. And I am looking! |

| | Karnak The temple area of Karnak is huge! This is not only one temple, itīs many temples in one place. There is also the Open air museum, inside Karnak temple area, and to get inside it, you have to by a seperate ticket. It was 25L.E in 2007. |

The Papyrus at SELKHET shop were beautiful and we bought several pieces. InCairo we found that we had paid 4 times more. The company and guide may have received exorbitant commission. Do you think we have been ripped off? Dinali |
