Every day local women and children come to the little square offering their speciality, home made chocolate - cupulate. The difference is that this chocolate is not made of cocoa as we are used to but it is made from seeds of cupuacu (the most popular fruit of Para).

Cupulate looks and tastes just like chocolate but it's cheaper and more resistant to heat. It comes with filling of various local fruits as cupuacu, bacuri, acai, murici, coconut, brazil nut...

All this delicious things are also served in the river while you are having a bath or passing by on the boat. What a luxury indeed!!!
