Nightlife Spot: Western Bars and Hofs (Korean Bars)

The downstars bar of the Novotel Doksan hotel has a special on weekdays. For 15,000 won, one gets unlimited draft beer, house wine and cocktails PLUS a live Philippine band playing pop classics. I believe the music starts around 9 p.m. and ends around 1 a.m.

Nightlife Spot: Manila Bar

Manila Bar in Itaewon is a bar run by a very friendly Philippine couple. Ted is a former lounge singer who often performs for customers. The place also has a karaoke machine for those wishing to sing. I'd say the busiest night is Saturday night, when many Filipinos working in Korea go there to have fun.
