    • The Met is a lovely boutique hotel located on Whyte Avenue. It is in a excellent location. There is shopping, restaurants, nightlufe and entertainment all around. Edmonton and Whyte Avenue have many festivals during the summer. It is very close to major transit, and downtown is only a few minutes away. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. They have valet parking, free breakfast, wine and cheese tastings on weekend evenings, free internet, fitness centre, and more. The decor is very nice and the beds are huge and extremely comfortable. The only downside is that it is located right on Whyte Avenue, which is very popular, so you can hear the noise from the street up in your room on the weekend.

     Thanks for the tour around your hometown. I think Edmonton got a lot of international attention hosting a Commonwealth Games some years ago?
