"When Vermont comes to Limerick" Vermont by J.J.Fanagh

Taking a tip from the Google map on VirtualTourist - and spreading a large Ordnance survey 1:50,000 Discovery series map on my dining room table - the best I can determine, Vermont is somewhere near Ballybrown on the N69.

So, somewhere just east of the River Maigue (which is one of my favorite rivers, and a favorite with trout fishingfolk as well) is where you'll find Vermont, and my favorite haunts as well.

Especially attractive, I think, is this wonderful cliffy spot somewhere just south and east of our Vermont - one of the low hills between Caherconlish and Lough Gur.
