Preparation

Being a resort, the food and drink can be expensive. As there is no need for a great amount of clothing, devote most of your suitcase space to food that doesn't require cooking. Wine drinkers especially, take it with you. Ensure you pack walking/hiking shoes and tropical strength insect repellent.

If you want air conditioning you must stay at one of the hillside villas; the standard rooms only have fans. The villas are also away from the busy areas (bonus) but could be a problem for those with mobility problems.
