When in Barcelona, be sure to take a walk down (or up) one of the world's most famous streets. Even if it is quite touristy, it is well worth it. I've never seen anything quite like it. |
|  | Beaches Barcelona has great beaches. From what I understand, 20 years ago the city beaches were all industrial areas. Well, you could never tell me looking at them today. Crystal clear water, nice golden sand, and miles of boardwalk make the beaches of Barcelona a great way to spend and afternoon. |
Architecture Barcelona has a lot of great architecture with great character, mostly due to Antoni Gaudi. His works around town include the world famous Sagrada Familia cathedral and Parc Guell, in addition to a number of other buildings around town. | | |
