After our hardship on the Inca Trail we finally made it to Machu Picchu!! Although we were almost too tired to appreciate it, our group was led on a tour and all the meanings of the site were explained.
I have immense respect for the Incans with their amazing architectural and engineering abilities on often difficult terrain.
Weather you do the Inca Trail or take the train from Cusco, Machu Picchu should be a must see on everyone's travel list. |
