Jam Packed Week in Chiang Mai - Chiang Mai

We visited Chiang Mai for a total of 8 days in April 2008. What an experience! We tried to fit a lot of things into a short period of time and managed to leave there feeling exhausted but extremely happy.
We filled our days with a Golden Triangle trip, a full day cooking class, a 3 day hill tribe trek and then a day to experience the Songkran festival from the back of a ute with a huge water bucket! Priceless!!
Unfortunately because of the Songkran festival (still fun) I didn't get to see the historical side of Chiang Mai. Perhaps I should go back for another visit some day?

    hmm who did you do this tour through? was it booked in chiang mai or online or through a travel agent?
