I was 15 when I first visited Cuba, and then again when I was 20.
It's becomong a tradition, now I turned 25 and I'm visiting again this month Nov 18th till Dec 18th.
Main goal: I will be participating "Baile en Cuba 2009"! Travel = Education and Dance is the language that I speak.. |
Santeria My last visit I planned to get to know more about the Santeria religion, and the best place to feel that Afro-Cuban religion is La Callejon de Hammel. I got know my own personal dance teacher there, who thougt me how to dance on the Afro-cuban- style. | | | Dancing the song of Eleggua |

| | Trip to Viñales & Pinar del rio A nice trip we've done is visiting Pinar del Rio and a trip to Viñales. We went with a big group of other tourist, but it's better to just go on your own, like we did a couple of years earlier. We rented a little van and asked one of the locals if toguide us, and he showed us more beautiful spots, then they did with the tourist tourbus. We got to see a lot more, and were able to hang around as long as we wanted. |
