We spent 8 days here and loved it. The staff is very accomodating, friendly and helpful. The desk personnel speak at least some English. The hotel was very clean. Amenities are minimal but we felt very safe and cared for in a city that can be difficult. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The price is right and the location in Miraflores is good--walk to Larcomar, for example. The restaurant behind the hotel (which is not formally connected with the hotel but provides room service) is reeeally good. It's Italian but we had the best Lomo Saltodo there. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is good!
Unique Qualities: The most oustanding feature, I think, is the interior. It looks to be a mansion from the past and is all tile and wood. Pretty cozy. Street noise isn't bad by Lima standards. The website photos don't do it justice and I think the outside is a different colour now. SAE members get a small discount.
