Scams OK Beijing has scams going on everywhere, from arriving in the airport to wandering around, be wary of anyone wanting to talk to you should they want something. See my dagers and warnings page. I was scammed 150 british pounds for three cups of tea!

Good things Beijing is a city of contrasts. It has much building work going on at the moment. There is lots of old buildings intermixed with the new. Unfortunately a lot oft eh Hutongs (old streets) are being torn down. I can thoroughly recommend taking a rickshaw tour of these Hutongs. |
