Pretty Little Town | Kennet-Avon running through Newbury |
I think Newbury is a lovely town mainly because the Kennet-Avon canal runs right through it. This means there is heaps of pubs and parks where you can sit canal-side and relax with a drink.
Its also big enough to have a good shop or night out but the beautiful countryside is only a few miles from the center of town for picnics etc.
It it is also close enough to London to do day trips there or to the North and South to the coast. |
