First steps in the U.S. in 2005 In summer 2005 me and my wife set foot to the United States. It was our first time ever and we thought we'd be the last Swissies to do so... We flew from Zurich to Washington and then on to Las Vegas. Leaving McCarran airport was a shock: We were used to mild temperatures in Switzerland like 25 degrees celsius and it struck us hard to have around 35 degrees at 7pm! |
