Singi ole Singapore is the place with the highest humidity i have ever been to. I think humidity is nearly 200% and that’s why I was sweating all day… Expect a lush vegetation, temperatures (in spring) ranging from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius and expect people who are highly busy with three important things in life: Working, eating and shopping.
S’pore is packed with office towers (banks), great food courts and countless shopping malls. I think there is no international brand which does not have at least one shop in town.
Of course I arrived without luggage as KLM left my bag in Amsterdam. There I was, dressed in heavy jeans and long sleeved shirt. Believe me, I did not feel too good in that situation... Fortunately, VT expert Carino gave me some of his shirts in order to survive the next day. |
