Mestre proved to be the right choice for our trip to the Venice area. It was a location that lent well to good transportation connections (bus train car).
Price was Right
Costs in Mestre were noticably lower than Venice for all neccesities and conveniences.
Food and People
The people we met and the food we shared in Mestre was delightful.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Cost, Transportation Hub, People
- Cons:Not in Venice, Less Glamorous
- In a nutshell:i would stay here again

very small room compared to others in the hotel. we were ok with that as we spent little time in it. Clean. Maid service... more travel advice
