The Sea

As I said, there is an atippical sea: there is no sunrise or sunset in the sea, no sand, no waves, no sea-gulls... but is incredible beautiful. In fact, I realise that is that kind of sea I like (exccept missing sand).

"extreme sports"

I never thought there is such a sport: traveling. In Montenegro this is an extreme sport: to GO to Budva is extremly exhausting, it is a real challange. We choose to go by train. Going there, we choose day time (bad decision): imagine your hairdryer in your face, maximum power and this is nothing. Comeing back, we thought night will be better - mistake of our life: there was no sits. we find the best places in the train to the restaurant wagon where we slept like animals on the floor, a horible smell of alcohol and cigarettes and, after 4 o'clock, very cold.
I don't think they have a program for trains, because trains are always late, they stop when and where they like: favourite stop is in the tunnels (lots of tunnels, lots of stops). When finally train moves from the tunnel, going with the horn on, to signal for possible other trains comeing from the other side (is just one line there. Funny, ha?)

now the good things

even if the trip was so incredible hard (and I think about me that I am a strong girl), Budva really deserves to visit.
We choose an acomodation near to the "beach" and also near to the old city. There was everythig perfect: people, services, atmoshere...
It is hard to describe Budva in few words, but I promise I'll work on this page to create you an image of it.

My visit to Budva was in 2007. Now is 2009, and I talk to people about this destination. People who been there after 2007 are really disappointet by Budva, told me is horrible, constructions everywhere, locals don't want to speack English, too much noise, etc... So, I don't know what to tell you now. My trip there was excellent!

Pros and Cons

Pros:It deserves all the efforts to go there
Cons:going to hell is possible to be nicer than going to Budva
