Vilcabamba is a paradise. So called longevity valley. They say that there live the oldest people from Ecuador... Known for its perfect mild climate (always warm, not too hot, it rains almost every day, but just a little moment...) and the beautiful surroundings. The landscape is amazing! Everything is so green! Perfect for hiking or horseback riding. You can also take some massages which is really cheap!
Vilcabamba lies 42 km south of Lojas (about 50 min bus ride). You can find alot of nice hotels and the locals are really friendly...
