We walked past the Lennon wall when we were in Prague in March '06 and thought we would have to see it again but we were surprised to see this bust of John Lennon fixed to the wall a little further down from where the mural is on our return in December '06.

Behind Tyn church in the area known as Ungelt there is a clothes shop called Ivana Follova and outside it has two chairs one with a moon symbol on top the other with a sun and these chairs make people mysteriously shrink (probably).

Having read about Strahov Stadium once being the largest stadium in the world (it is now 2nd largest to Indianapolis Motor Speedway) I wanted to see it. When we got there I was amazed by the size of the place but also how dilapidated it was. It was originally built in 1948 and expanded under the communist regime to its current size (it is spread over 15 acres) and could accomodate over 220,000 people to say its immense is an understatement. It is currently used as training pitches for Sparta Prague and there are 8 full size soccer pitches and 2 half size pitches.

After going to Strahov Stadium we walked to the Petrin Tower and we walked past the observatory, it was a great diversion to our day we were treated to a small tour and were able to ask questions as the staff there also speak English which was a bonus as my knowledge of the Czech language wouldn't extend to the level of conversation we were having. The entrance price is 40czk and opening times are advertised on the observatory's website but it is closed every Monday.
