This is my home county and is situated in the north midlands of England, it is bordered by eight other counties which are South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. The scenery is varied throughout the county from low grazing land in the south to the Peak District National Park's hills and moorlands in the north. There are a lot of large country houses and estates situated around the county the most famous one being Chatsworth which is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.
