Valletta is the capital of Malta. It is under UNESCO protection. Its characteristic balconies, numerous palaces and churches seduce at first sight. St. John’s Co-Cathedral is known by Caravaggio’s painting kept in its treasury and by thumbs of all Malta’s Grand Masters. It’s really worth to visit it. |
| | “Grand Master’s Palace” is the most beautiful palace in Valletta. On the ground-floor is placed one of the biggest arms museum in Europe. After long walk around Valletta we climbed up to the “Baracca gardens” park built in the 17th centaury from where we enjoyed the beautiful panorama of Valletta’s harbor. |
