    • Vegas is know for the night array of lights. Many of the classic old neon signs are gone or overwhelmed by the newer and bigger hotels and casinos. You can still get a feel for old Las Vegas from the efforts of the Neon Museum. They have a fascinating "boneyard" of old signs in varying states of repair, restoration or ruin that is really worth the visit if you have time, but it has to be arranged in advanced. More easily, you can take the museum's self-guided tour to see ten beautifully restored signs. Check out their web page for directions.
