Many things to do in Maui | The popular beach at Ka'anapali |
Maui is an extremely popular island to visit. Its highly developed tourism industry makes it easy for the visitor to have the type of vacation they want, whether it be an expensive fancy beach resort or a down to earth B & B in the upcountry, away from the crowds. With beautiful beaches, the famous volcano crater, the windy, verdant road to Hana and fine restaurants, nobody should be disappointed. |

| | Hotel architecture For some visitors, the hotel can make or break the vacation. For others it is just a place to sleep while they go out and explore the many sights and enjoy island activities. I find it interesting to take note of the different styles that the hotels and resorts that have been built. Some are cheap and obviously just there to make a quick dollar. Others have huge investments in making their place a destination in itself, with fancy restaurants and bars, beautiful grounds and pools.
I haven't stayed at the Sheraton, but have enjoyed the bar and seeing what I think is some more unique architecture. |
