Bautzen has to be one of Germany's most underrated historical towns. The colorful old buildings, stone streets and city walls provide a peek into the features of the 1000 year old place. A turn by every corner of the of the old town opens up to an interesting view, and a walk along the noble city walls gives you a glimpse into history.

Bautzen is scheduled for a spontaneous visit next Sunday - Plan B for something else that doesn't work - so thanks for some impressions and ideas. Love the spring photo of the town wall.

Beautiful fotos!!!Wonderful colors!Hm,by the way,there is a town(not too far away from New Glarus)called ,,little Norway``-Mount Horab or so ,were you can visit a mustard museum:-)))Found it was lovely.
