I keep going back to this place - the name means "dead sea" i.e. the lagoon, but the turquoise sea is also an attraction. Try the restaurant by the bowling alley on the seafront.
Fethiye is the hub for cheap buses to local attractions, though I cant argue with those who decide to take tours instead - just shop around rather than trusting your rep.
Swim in the hot springs amidst Roman pillars, walk in the white moonscape of chalk deposits. Look for deals from local travel agents - we did an overnight deal where we stayed in a great 4-star hotel nr Denizli before proceeding to Ephes, and the total cost was a steal.
Go in the morning, or fry. Then even an Ephes beer tastes like nectar.
Oludeniz from N - worth the walk from Kaya Koyu. Take water, repellent. Or just walk back from the road round the lagoon (this view half an hour from road) - the trail starts/ends inconveniently behind the private beach - try just brazenly walking through via the gate at back, or skirt the fence, then find a stone or tree with a red/yellow flash pointing (well vaguely pointing) the way. The walk gets tricky - the trail zigzags back a couple of times on the rocky hillside so watch out for the painted marker stones - they may be behind you!
Taken by her faithful Sancho Panza (though I'm not suggesting that he and Don Q were engaged in anything untoward).
From one of the fine set of walks available from the info centre.
Close to the Rodin exhibition.
I like silhouettes of palmtrees, this is, if I remember correctly, in northern Greece.
By the justly venerated creator of the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. His house in Barca is a must, too.
