April 2008 I visited Angkor Wat. I had seen this amazing 'building' in books and on television a lot and never expected to be ever able to visit it myself. But april 2008 I was there...

In Siem Reap a lot of 'tuk tuk-drivers' ask if you want to hire them for 1 or 2 days, they will show you the Angkor temples... it is definately the best way to visit the temples. Two days was enough for me, as if you stay longer it might get boring,

on our first day we visited the Angkor Thom gate, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat and the sunset at Bakheng. On the second day we went to Preah Khan, Neak Pean and Ta Som.
