<font face=verdana color=purple>The BA London Eye<font color=black> -- I've heard it's got tremendous views of the city. I haven't been up there -- it seemed a bit drafty for January, but I'm sure it's quite lovely. Just chalk it up with the save-for-later!</font>

Also, full props to British Airways for boldly putting their nomiker on an important attraction. You see this sort of thing a lot, frankly. For example, I now live outside of Chicago, which features a fairly well-known NFL football team. Back in the day, this team was known as the Chicago Bears. Now, they are the Chicago Bears presented by BankOne. Got it? The BankOne Bears. Whoo-hoo! Go commercialism!

Check out the Tower of London... Tower Bridge Review

<font face=verdana>Check out the <font color=blue><b> Tower of London and its accompanying bridge</font></b><font face=verdana>. I didn't. Look, stop laughing. By now, you should know how I operate. I love sitting in cafes and seeing the local side of things. This means that inevitably I miss something big, like the Tower of London. Erp. We just didn't have time. I did walk past it though. And I saw this big ol' bridge. Spiffy, isn't it?

So you want to know about the Tower anyway, eh? Well, it used to be the main castle, and then served as a prison for young princes, and then stored the jewels (which it still does) and now has a lot of Beefeaters, tourists and ravens. Actually, one wonders what the Beefeaters did during Mad Cow and Foot-and-Mouth. Maybe they became Tofu-eaters? Just wondering, really.

The bridge is big and happy. It's not London Bridge, so don't worry about it falling down. London Bridge, as we all know, is in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Got it?</font>

Again, I suppose everyone... Buckingham Palace. Review

<font face=verdana>Again, I suppose everyone should stop by <font color=red><b>Buckingham Palace</b></font><font face=verdana>. I'm a big fan of strolling, so I strolled down the Mall to the Palace. After a quick ooh/ahh, I hustled back into St. James Park.

My real reason for showing this picture though is to point attention to the sky. Do you see how blue it is? So blue, oh so blue! Do you remember how I bring clouds to sunny places and sun to the cloudy? Here's the final exhibit -- I brought sunshine to Rainy London. How about that!? If that doesn't earn me honourary British citizenship, I don't know what would. </font>
