I always admired Immortal's resistance to coldness, but Norway's low temperature are actually okay and the cold doesn't bite through your clothes. This is a vision from my hotel room. I was in a very cheap room and the heating didn't work...and well, I was perfectly okay in a light T-Shirt. At night, the low, heavy white sky reflected the light from the street lamps and the luminosity was very strong, like on a wan cloudy day. |
| | In the woods Only in the park around the Parliament. Beautiful under the snow and eerily quiet. Suddenly, a thunderstorm: the echo of horses' hooves passing by. |
| | Camilla Collett A feminist writer. Then again, it seems a very important concern for Norwegians and I'm sure a generation of females thank her today. |
