Nightlife Spot: Spiders
it is unlike most other clubs - there is a wide range of music - mostly rock and indie but also an upstairs room which plays 70's cheese or dance. The place has been around for ever - many of my friends parents used to go there when they were young. The glass collectors are notorious - they must be the only retired couple who work as glass collecters in a rock club!! The decor leaves a lot to be desired - lots of black walls, iron spiders webs and red furnishings. Drinks there are unbeliievable - 40p for a vodka!! The cocktails are great - beware the pangalagtic gargle blaster (my personal favourite) It is a pint of spirits (only 2.30 pounds) not many can stand straight after 3.

Dress Code: You can get in wearing anything but you will probably feel more comfortable wearing something black or in rock, indie or skater style. I have gone many times just in jeans.
Directions: Get a taxi. it is in an industrial area and unless you find some people who are walking there you will get hopelessly lost.
