The Hotel Guadiana is located on the largest corridor of the town, Avenida da República. A very Victorian-looking, elegant building, the hotel had a surprisingly reasonable price in winter, when I was there. I enjoyed a great interior of hotel where I could look out to the window to the marina from the breakfast lounge, as well as new, clean facilities inside the room. I was actually greeted by the hotel manager while eating a breakfast, who asked me if everything was all right. I told him I had a great stay there, and you will have the same experience!
Only 2 blocks or so away from the main square of the town, this strategically located hotel offers a great service.
Unique Qualities: The architecture and interior designs of the hotel are the best, unique features!
N.B.: Because the accomodation fare gets very low in winter, this place is suitable even for backpackers (who can chip in some more for the better) or budget travelers, if you will be in town in December or January. The weather is still pretty good, with a cool breeze from the ocean.
