The best way I can describe myself is that I thrive on travelling. I call myself traveloholic. But one needs money to travel so I wake up everyday at 5.30 in the morning and regale people through radio waves.

I am heading Radio City, Lucknow and at the same time host the morning show! For more than 8 and a half years I have been reinventing myselfing and learning something new each day!

I write, paint, sing and sleep a lot to make my life more exciting.

My background

I came on this earth on 31st August, so that makes me a fussy virgo and yes I do justify my sunsign because I have a fetish for cleanliness. Have done my Masters in English Literature and have also been a journalist in Hindustan Times.

For past 8 and a half years I have been with Radio City, Lucknow.

My mother is my my chief escort while we are no trip. Both of us are great travel buffs. Have travelled almost all over India. So if you have any queries about any place in India, I might be able to help you.

Mussoorie- Dhanolti trip!!

I made my last trip in March and that was by road. Trust me it was such a beautiful experience! I met Mr Ruskin Bond in Mussoorie, headed to Dhanolti which is out of this world, very serene place, then moved to Rishikesh. Sitting near Ganges ghats was truly a spiritual experience. I stayed in Rishikesh for three days and everyday we used to go to Chotiwaala restaurant for the grub. Awesome foo and very reasonable price too.

Hi Vera, really nice pictures and nicely described. I wanted to go to Leh this August but did not get leave from work. Please keep posting more travel pictures. I travelled all over himalayas but unfortunately I do not have a lot of pictures.
