The lure of grown-up middle-aged things such as a bigger house, bigger garden and better schools led us up the M1 (or A1 - we're very accessible here) to St Albans and I've now lived in this house longer than anywhere ever!

    I've only been to St. Albans once, on a day trip. We should have stayed longer and tried some of those restaurants. Good luck to them in the conference!

    I love St aALbans market on a Saturday. There is a fab jewelery stall there. Will let you know next time I come up.
