Singapore Hotel Tips by Bayslions

This hotel is quite a bit out of the main shopping areas of Orchid Road but taxi cost about $8-10 Singapore Dollars to get almost anywhere. The hotel staff are not the most appoachable people and can be very hard to understand. The internet their was quite expensive so didnt use it.
We had trouble with our first room as toilet was not flushing but after 3 attempts of maintenance person to fix we were upgraded to a better room across carpark where we had a balcony overlooking the city and next to Raffles Club.
The hotel is about a 200m walk to a service station where you can buy your drinks a bit cheaper than the mini-bar which was very dear. $5 for a can of coke!!!
The pool was in great condition but right on the highway so was a bit noisy. The gym had all the equipment for a workout.
If go back to Singapore again will probally like to stay a bit closer to action but would be happy to stay here if on overnight stay. Was easy to get to zoo about $10 SGD.

Unique Qualities: Pool-The pool has a deep and shallow end and you can pick up a towel from around pool. It is very close to the main road.
Gym- Excersise bike, 2 x treadmills, free weights and benchpress machine. Very clean and tidy
