Hakone Hotel (2006) Tried to view Mount Fugi, but no luck! Best time to see Mount Fugi is October or November. The hotel pictured here is relatively INEXPENSIVE...it is the PANSION HAKONE BB....or BB PANSION HAKONE. Good value for money and right in the hub of ONSENS! About 3 to 4,000 yen for a SINGLE room. Just remember.....no elavators....and basic style rooms with no towels or those nice little extras. |
Kamakura (2004) Big Buddha is well worth the trip! He is the SECOND BIGGEST in Japan and is definitely a TOURIST ATTRACTION MUST SEE! Some great temples/shrines in the area as well. And if you are game you should try the: Sweet potato Ice Cream. |
Oita and Beppu Interesting to visit and amongst all the onsens and hells gates you will discover a sex museum. Well worth a visit! Dont know what the HOLE is for, but just had to take a photo! Entrance is between 1,000 and 2,000 yen for as long as you like..... |
