Beatutiful Beaches

I have been to the Pink sand beaches of bermuda, the famous beaches of Southern CA and Hawaii, but no beaches can rival those of modest little Marco Island. The sand is soft and bright white and so nice to lie in. The waves are gentle and perfect for kids. If you want you can go to the protected waters of Tigertail Beach. You can even go fishing and kayaking in the inlet where Tigertail beach is.

Rent a Boat!

One great thing to do on Marco Island is rent a boat. You get a feeling of freedom and control which is very exilirating, especially if'f you've never piloted a boat before. Another thing you can do when you rent a boat is dock at a restaurant for lunch. This dosen't require much more than a little knowledge of docking a boat ( which you can ask about at the marina) and is really fun. There is nothing better than having lunch looking out over the water and seeng your boat docked right there!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:quiet, relitively undiscovered, beautiful beaches
  • Cons:not to many activities, need a car
  • In a nutshell:Very realaxing but you need to drive to naples for the fun stuff
