"The town where I was born" Vranov nad Topl'ou by summer26

This is the town where I was born. There is absolutely nothing going on, there is almost zero nightlife, no significant sights and the nature is just like in any other place. But believe me or not I really love this place. The unemployment rate is very high and salaries low, but people living here are just wonderful. I have almost half of my family living here and spend most of my childhood summer holidays at my grandma´s. I still love coming back (we spend Christmas here as well together with 17 other people at one table!!). You can´t really find such a sincerity of people (and such great home made food either!) in Bratislava...

When I come for a 3 day visit, I always gain 2-3 kilos. Seriously. But the food is so good...this is one of the best ones - beef on cream and mushrooms and dumpling (as girlfriend of my brother from Iceland said to her friends we eat here ´wet unbaked bread:) - still better than boiled sheep heads:) You can forget about the vegetables.

• In a nutshell:I will always come back!!!
