Instantly recognisable as a local establishment,it is a tall white washed building with a huge bouganvillia infront of the doorway, head inside and up the stairs to the first floor where you are welcomed in real swahili style by a mzee(old man) in a kofia(muslim cap).The rooms are clean,airy and come with their own shower and toilet.Ask for rooms at the front of the building so you can sit on your swahili bed watching the dhows go past at sunset.Breakfast is a huge meal of fruit,fruit and more fruit, with some hot kenyan chai(tea) and even a couple of fried eggs.
