Bear River Winery

This winery has been in Bear River for 10 or more years, and they have an established routine for their tours. Extremely educational. Very professional and knowledgeable people. It is run by the family and a few occassional workers. I learned more about wine, its tastes, scents, and variations than I ever dreamed possible. Truly a pleasant little jaunt.

Directions: Turn off Highway 101 and folow the signs to Bear River. It is a small community, anyone you ask will be able to point you in the right direction.

Annapolis Highland Winery

This is a new winery in Bear River, and they are quite open to visitors. They produce a couple of dry whites, a dry red, and a blueberry/red wine blend. They also have wine jellies and little gift items, together with some home-made chutneys. Really a nice visit, informative and interesting.
