What can I say, it's really beautiful and we didn't really see any of it! Ah, well, I guess we just have to go back...it's such a hardship, you know.
Lots of activity here
We felt quite safe out in the evening. Mind you, we keep everything locked safely in moneybelts under our clothing. We don't wear expensive clothing or jewellery, so there's nothing to really attract attention, except that we are obviously tourists.
- Pros:Warm weather (May) lots to see and do
- Cons:not quite as clean and easy to move about as north Italy
- In a nutshell:I am definitely planning a return visit.
