"Nice in Nice" a Nice Travel Page by kmorlo16

I visited Nice in February 2006 and instantly fell in love with the city. The city is very laid back and casual. You can stroll along the Promenade des Anglais and enjoy beautiful views of the Mediterranean and the lovely hotels. The Old Town is charming with many shops and restaurants with a lot of photo opportunities. Nice provides an excellent base to explore other places like Cannes and Monte Carlo. In Nice you have great access to public transporation including buses and trains. We even went into a flea market in Italy via the train. I can't wait to go back.
